Equal Exchange organic green tea with ginger offers the best of both worlds: a calm floral and oceanic green tea with a warming ginger kick. Equal Exchange organic green tea with ginger has tea leaves from the small-scale farmers of the Potong Tea Garden in Darjeeling, India, and ginger from the Marginalized Organic Producers Association (MOPA) in Sri Lanka. Formerly a colonial plantation, the Potong Tea Garden is now collectively run by its workers and paving a stronger, more democratic path forward for the community. In 1986, three friends started Equal Exchange to challenge the existing model of international trade, which favors large plantations, agri-business, and multinational corporations. Instead, our company set out to support small farmers. We work every day to build community between our farmer partners and consumers, through education, advocacy, and of course, by selling delicious, sustainable, and nourishing products directly to you. Our delicious organic, fair trade teas are sourced from small-scale farmers.
