“Working to protect the rights, welfare, and habitats of animals.” Active. These guys don’t mess around. We love IDA.

Newer Portland area nonprofit focusing on education and outreach. “Building Better Activists.” Let Live sponsors a series of monthly talks/workshops as well as the annual Let Live NW Animal Rights Conference.
Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary
Local (kinda) farm sanctuary located near Salem, OR. Donate or just go lend a hand.
Northwest Veg
Vegetarian education group located here in Portland. Nice folks who organize a lot of pro-animal stuff in the area. Site offers another good resource for eating and living in the Portland area.
